Description

Kilndown Poultry Farm is a house with origins dating back to the 16th century or earlier. It features a timber frame and is tile hung, with weather boarding on the left return. The roof is plain tiled, gabled on the left side with a white stock brick chimney stack, and hipped on the right side with a gablet. There is a studded end on the right in a catslide outshut, which includes a gabled semi-dormer at the end. On the first floor, there is a single wooden casement window. The ground floor has a painted brick lean-to extension with a corrugated asbestos roof, featuring three metal casements with segmental heads and a central boarded door. At the rear, there is a catslide outshut with a dormer.
