Description
Mouseden is a house that now serves as a field centre, dating from the 17th century or earlier, with cladding added in the 18th to 20th centuries. It features a timber frame and is weather-boarded, with tile-hung return elevations set on a red brick and rendered base. The roof is plain tiled and hipped, extending to the left and right, with stacks located at the centre and rear left. The building has two storeys above a high, buttressed base, and exhibits regular fenestration with two wooden casements on each floor, each consisting of three lights, except for the bottom left window. There are boarded doors on the left and right within lean-to outshots. The base plinth on the return elevations is partly exposed and constructed of red brick in English bond.
