Description

This bridge, built around 1840, is located over the Sweetbourne stream in Lamberhurst. It is constructed from sandstone and features a single arch with three keystones. The bridge has stepped buttresses and a flat band along the parapet walls, which are splayed in plan and topped with coping stones. This structure is part of Edward Hussey's enhancements to the park surrounding Scotney Castle.
