Description
Lockhurst Hatch Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 16th century, with 20th-century extensions added to the left end and the rear right. The building features exposed timber framing with whitewashed brick and rubblestone infill, along with some rendered sections. The left extension is rendered brick with tile hanging above, while the rear right extension is made of sandstone rubble. The farmhouse has plain tiled roofs and stands two storeys high on a plinth. There is a ridge stack located to the left of the centre and an end stack on the right. The first floor includes some bracing and has three casement windows, along with two additional windows in the extension. The ground floor has four windows, with two more in the extension. A six-panelled door is positioned to the left of centre in the original part of the house, sheltered by a braced flat hood.
