It has a timber frame that is underbuilt in colourwashed brick, with the frame exposed on the first floor and rubble infilled. The cottage features brick extensions to the rear and right, and has plain tiled roofs that are hipped to the right. The structure has two storeys on the left and one storey with an attic on the right, along with two gabled dormers. There are three framed bays with an end stack on the left side. The first floor has two windows, while the ground floor has two windows and an additional window with an extension to the right. A 20th-century gabled brick porch with a part-glazed door is present. At the rear, there are two gabled wings; the left wing is made of sandstone with a weatherboarded gable.
