Description
This is a barn dating from the late 17th century to the 18th century, located to the left of Madgehole Farm House in Wonersh. It is constructed with a timber frame of thin scantling, set on a plinth made of sandstone rubble and brick. The exterior is clad in weatherboarding and features a half-hipped roof covered with plain tiles. The barn consists of five framed bays and has central opposing entrances, with pentices at both ends. Inside, there is a Queen strut clasped purlin roof that includes some arched bracing. The barn has been restored and is included for its group value with the nearby farm house.
