Description
A barn dating from the 17th century is located southwest of Willinghurst Farm House. The barn is timber framed, resting on a galleted sandstone block and brick plinth, with weatherboard cladding. Sandstone blocks are visible at the left end, topped with an offset tile roof. The roof is half-hipped, extending into catslides over the front pentices. It has three framed bays featuring a hipped midstrey facing the front and a cut-off hipped midstrey at the rear, with opposing entrances in the center. Inside, the end bays are floored, and the roof structure consists of a queen-post and queen-strut design, with clasped purlins and arched bracing.
