Description

A barn, dating from the 17th century with 19th-century alterations. It is timber framed and stands on a plinth of ironstone and brick, with weatherboard cladding and a plain tiled roof. The barn has three bays, with a brick pentice to the front left. Two fixed casements are present in the pentice, along with a pair of opposing doors in the centre. Inside, the roof is a queen-strut clasped purlin construction with diagonal wind bracing. Tension bracing is visible in the wall framing over the middle rail.
