Description
Tudor House and Snoxhalls is a house, possibly originally a manor house, dating from the late 16th century. Later extensions were added in the late 19th century on the right side. The front of the house features close stud framing with whitewashed infill, and a brick underbuilding below. The roof is tiled, with a tile-hung gable end. The house is two storeys high, with the first floor originally jettied on the left-hand gable end. A stack is situated to the right of the centre, within its own bay. There are two diamond-pane casement windows on the first floor and two windows below. A 20th-century brick porch, set at an angle with Snoxhalls, contains a diamond-pane casement window and brick dentilled eaves. A ribbed door is located to the left of the arched entrance. The rear of the house has a ground-floor outshot. The late 19th-century extensions to the right are not of particular architectural interest. Inside, spine beams and substantial wall frames are exposed, along with some original doorways.
