Description

This barn, located 20 meters southeast of Hill Farm House, dates back to the 17th century. It features a timber frame built on sandstone footings, with a higher plinth on one side. The exterior is clad in weatherboard, and it has a plain tiled roof that extends into a corrugated iron catslide over a rear outshot. The barn consists of five framed bays and has double doors at the center on both sides, which are sheltered by a drip board facing the lane. There is one window on each side. Inside, the barn has a queen-post roof with substantial bracing.
