Description
Wintersgrace is a house dating from the late 16th century to the 17th century, with extensions added in the 20th century. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with colourwashed render infilling and a plain tiled roof. The right-hand single bay extension has brick and imitation framing, while the first floor of the left-hand extension also has imitation framing, with hipped roofs. The original house consists of three framed bays, one storey with attics, and includes three gabled, diamond-pane leaded casement dormers. The ends of the house are two storeys high. A double ridge stack is located to the right of the centre. The first floor of the original range has tension bracing, and there are four windows on the ground floor beneath drip boards, with one window to the right in the extension. To the left, there is a window on each floor flanking a square bay extension, which has two central and two angle windows on the first floor. A single storey range is present at the left end, with a door on the left-hand return front, and an old door that has been blocked.
