Description
Smarkham is a C17 cottage with 20th-century extensions to its left and right. It is timber framed with a square panel pattern, featuring whitewashed brick infill below and C20 tile hanging above. The extensions are of whitewashed brick and tile hanging, with a plain tiled roof. The cottage has a baffle entry plan and two storeys, with a ridge stack to the right of centre. The upper floor has three, 3-light leaded casements, and there are three windows below. A gabled porch with a plank door is located to the right of centre. A lower wing extends to the rear of the right side, featuring a flat dormer.
