Description

The house at Plonks Farm is a timber-framed building dating from the 17th century, with alterations and remodelling in the 19th century. The lower part of the facade is faced with whitewashed brick, while the upper part is covered in brown 'club' tile hanging. The roof is tiled and has a half-hipped design. The house has a T-shaped layout, with a lower, single-story cross wing to the left. It is two storeys high, with stacks at the rear. The first floor has three metal-framed casement windows, and the ground floor has two larger casement windows. The cross wing features one window on each floor; the ground floor window has a cambered head. A 20th-century door is located to the left of the centre, within a pentice-roofed porch.
