Description

Lime Cottage is a cottage that dates from the late 16th century, with a 19th-century extension at one end. It has a timber frame with colourwashed rendered infill and colourwashed brick extensions, which are taller on the left side. The roofs are plain tiled. The building is two storeys high on the left, featuring two framed bays, and one storey with an attic on the right, which has two eaves casement dormers. There is curved bracing on the first floor of the framed section, with one small casement window on the first floor and two ground floor windows in the centre. There are stacks at the rear. On the right side, there are two ground floor casements under cambered heads, with one window on each floor to the left. A gabled brick porch on the left has a half-glazed door.
