Description
Sister Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 16th century, with extensions from the 17th century and additions from the 19th century on the right end. It features a timber frame that is underbuilt in whitewashed brick, with the frame exposed above and whitewashed brick infill, along with whitewashed brick extensions. The roof is plain tiled, partly from the 20th century, and is hipped to the left with a gablet. The cottage has one storey and an attic, which includes two small gabled dormers. There are three framed bays, with a ridge stack located to the left of centre and an end stack to the left. The ground floor has irregular fenestration with four mixed casements, and there are plank doors to the left and right of centre.
