Description
Misbrook Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century, with extensions added in the 19th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame made of thin scantling, with brick and whitewashed render infilling above. The left side is tile hung, and there are brick extensions. The cottage has plain tiled roofs and is two storeys high with attics. There are 17th-century stacks at the left end and at an angle with the right-hand extensions. A large central dormer contains four diamond-pane lights. The first floor has tension bracing and two windows, while the ground floor also has two windows, with additional windows on the return wall of the right-hand gable end extension. Each end has one window on each floor, and there is a diamond-pane window on the first floor to the left. A door is located to the left in a single-storey, hip-roofed range that projects to the front left.
