Description
Bakers Cottages is a house that has been divided, dating from the 17th century with 19th and 20th century extensions. It features a timber frame made of thin scantling, with colourwashed render cladding below and tile hanging above. The right-hand return front has brick infilling to the exposed frame, and the house has plain tiled roofs. It is positioned at an angle to the street, with the entrance facing south. The building is two storeys high, with a rear ridge stack on the left end and another rear stack on the right. There are three windows on the first floor and five on the ground floor. The doors are located to the left and on the right-hand return front, facing the street, and are sheltered by a flat hood supported by braces. There are wings extending at right angles to the rear.
