Description
Churchgardens Farm House is a late 17th-century house with a 19th-century extension at the rear. It is built of red and brown brick, featuring red and grey header brick on the extensions. The first floor of the left-hand return front is tile hung, with some tiles arranged in a fishscale pattern, and it has plain tiled roofs. The house has two storeys and attics, with a wooden eaves band. There are stacks at the right end, left end, and at the rear. The attic features two leaded segmental-headed casements in pedimented dormers. The first floor has five leaded casements, while the ground floor has four windows. The central entrance is set within a shallow 19th-century pedimented porch, which has turned balusters on the sides and front, and an arched and braced door. At the rear right, there is a parallel range with a pentice at the right end, extending back under a stone slab roof.
