Description

Yew Tree Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located in Capel. It features a timber frame that is clad in a chequerboard pattern of red and blue header brick on the ground floor, with square-ended 'keyed' tile hanging above. The roof is covered with Horsham slabs. There is an offset galleted sandstone rubble and block chimney stack with a corbelled top at the right end of the building. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows on each floor. A central 19th-century door is situated under a shallow gabled hood. There is a pentice at the left end and extending across the rear.
