Description

The walls and gatepiers to the former entrance of Great Bounds date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed of ashlar stone and feature a roll mould along the ridge of the pitched capping. The structure includes two stretches of wall, each 40 feet long, which are terminated at both ends by piers that have moulded ogee-pyramid capping.
