Description
These walls and gate piers date from approximately 1836 and are constructed of textured ashlar stone with ashlar dressings. The walls have a chamfered plinth and roll-top coping. The design incorporates a pair of square gate piers, which feature traceried paneling, chamfered corners, and billeted pyramidal caps. Five additional square piers, each with a pyramidal cap, are spaced along the wall's length, which extends for roughly 50 meters. The structures are included on the listing for their contribution to the group value of the surrounding buildings.
