Description
The wall and two pairs of gate piers at Number 11, Shaw House, date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed from coursed squared gritstone and ashlar. The wall measures 20 meters long and 1 meter high, featuring wooden gates at either end. The gates are flanked by square gate piers topped with pyramidal caps and have panel fronts. This structure is included for its group value.
