Description
Glebe House is a large building that now serves as offices. It was built in the late 19th century and restored in the late 20th century. The exterior features coursed rock-faced gritstone with ashlar details and a slate roof, designed in the Gothic Revival style. The house has two storeys and three bays, with a central narrow entrance bay flanked by wider gabled bays. There are steps leading up to a pointed arch entrance with a hoodmould and a recessed door. The windows throughout the building are mullion and transom style, including a six-light bay window on the right and a three-light window on the left. The first-floor windows in the outer bays have trefoil panels above and a central quatrefoil panel set within a wide pointed arch. The entrance arch and windows have quoined jambs, and the gables feature carved barge-boards. There are ornate moulded chimney stacks located at the centre and left of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
