Description
No. 151 on Otley Road is a lodge to The Grange, now known as Beckett Park, built in the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of ashlar stone and features a steeply pitched stone slate roof in the Tudor style. It is a single storey with an attic and has an asymmetrical design. The facade facing St Chad's Drive includes a gabled porch with a boarded door, a four-centred arch, a hoodmould, and a plain shield above. It also has overhanging eaves with ornate traceried barge-boards and small lancet windows. On the right side, which faces Otley Road, there is a stone-roofed bay window and an attic window above with chamfered reveals and ornate barge-boards. At the rear, a large stone chimney features octagonal hafts, cornices, and crenellated caps. The interior has not been inspected.
