Description

The gate piers and front wall to Number 5, Glebe House, are a boundary wall with a blocked gateway, dating from the late 19th century. The structure is made of coursed squared gritstone and ashlar. The wall is approximately 40 meters long and 1 meter high. The inner and outer gate piers, located towards the southwest end, stand about 2 meters high and feature square bases, round shafts, incised bands, conical capstones, and bud finials. This structure is included for its group value.
