Description

St Catherine's is an 18th-century house with an earlier core. It is constructed of painted brick with a tiled roof, and features two segmental dormers. A stringcourse runs between the ground and first floors. The house is two storeys high with an attic, presenting a three-window facade. The outer windows are tripartite sashes, while the central first-floor window has a single, narrow sash. All windows are set within moulded architraves, and the original glazing bars remain intact. A central entrance is present. The building was occupied by the Revd Tucker around 1830, and was subsequently stayed in by Keble, Manning and Pusey.
