Description
A pair of houses, dated to the 1830s, located on the south east side of Ramsgate Hardres Street. The houses are rendered and have a slate roof. They are three storeys high with a basement. The ground floor is rusticated and features a plat band and six coupled giant pilasters, with the inner four being fluted. A frieze and cornice extend to a parapet, which is raised centrally with stacks. The windows are glazing bar sashes; the second floor windows have 12 panes, the first floor windows have 16 panes, and the ground floor has canted bays with further glazing bar sashes, moulded surrounds, and cornices. The basement windows are also glazing bar sashes. A half-glazed and reeded door is located to the left, and a six-panelled door is to the right, both contained within semi-circular surrounds. Simple iron railings are present at the steps and basement level.
