Description
No. 29 Hardres Street is a house and shop dating from around 1830. It is built of stock brick and has a slate roof. This building features a curved corner design and stands three storeys tall, topped with a parapet and chimney stacks on the right side. Each elevation has one glazing bar sash window on every floor, with an additional casement window on the second floor to the left. There are multi-paned bow windows on either side of the double half-glazed and panelled doors, which also curve around the corner. The entrance is accessed by two curved steps, and the whole façade is unified by a single fascia and cornice. Additionally, there is a half-glazed door on the left return, framed by a gauged semi-circular surround.
