Description
No. 64 is a house located on Hardres Street in Ramsgate, built in the 1830s. It is constructed from stock brick and has a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high with a basement, featuring a cill band at the first floor, a cornice, and a parapet. There are chimney stacks on both the left and right sides. The second floor has two glazing bar sash windows, while the ground and first floors feature a two-storey bow with a cornice and two glazing bar sashes on each floor. The entrance door, positioned to the right, has four raised and fielded panels with two roundels beside it, topped by a geometric traceried semi-circular fanlight in a gauged surround. A glazing bar sash window is present in the basement. The property is accessed by steps with panelled railings, and there are fleur-de-lys cast iron rails surrounding the basement area.
