Description
No. 14 is a house built around 1830, located on Bellevue Road in Ramsgate. It is constructed of stock brick with a rendered base and features three storeys plus a basement. The building has a cill band, a parapet, and a chimney stack on the left side. On the second floor, there are two sash windows, while the first floor has two glazing bar sashes, all with gauged heads. The ground floor includes a canted bay with a cornice and glazing bar sashes, alongside a half-glazed door to the right, which is topped by a semi-circular fanlight set in a surround with imposts and a keystone that features incised Greek key decoration. There is a flight of three steps leading up to this entrance. To the right, there is an identical blocked doorway that leads to a passage. The basement has a wooden casement and a half-glazed door, which has plain 20th-century rails.
