Description
No. 52 is a terrace house dating from the 1820s, located on the east side of Waterloo Road in Ramsgate. The building is constructed of stock brick with a slate roof, featuring a parapet and a stack on the right-hand side. It has three storeys and a basement. The second floor has two-paned glazing bars. Below this is a two-storey canted bay with margin light French windows on the first floor, set within a tented verandah supported by scalloped iron pier brackets. The ground floor and basement windows are glazing bar sashes. A half-glazed door is situated in a recessed wing to the left return, with a fluted, keyed semi-circular surround. Simple rails lead to the steps, and hooped rails define the area.
