Description

No. 1 is a terrace house from the 1830s, located on the east side of Church Road in Ramsgate. The building is rendered and features a slate roof. It has three storeys and a basement, with a parapet and a stack on the left side. On the second floor, there are two 20th-century wooden casement windows. The first floor has two glazing bar sash windows, while the ground floor has a sash window and a six-panel door to the right, with the top two panels glazed and set in a semi-circular surround with a single step. There is also a sash window in the basement. The basement area is enclosed with simple rails, topped with baluster finial principals. This building is included for its group value.
