Description
No. 71 is a house located on Addington Street in Ramsgate, dating from around 1830. The building is rendered and features a tiled roof. It has three storeys and a basement, with a rusticated base, a parapet, and a stack at the rear. On the second floor, there is a sash window, while the ground and first floors have a two-storey canted bay with sash windows. To the right of the bay is a panelled door, which has glazed panels in the top two sections and is framed by a semi-circular headed surround with a Coade stone keystone. Access to the basement area is via three steps with swept rails, and there are simple rails and a wrought iron gate. The basement area also includes a glazing bar sash window.
