Description
No. 18 is a terrace house, now divided into flats, built between 1798 and 1801. It is constructed of white stock brick, with the ground floor rendered, and features a slate roof. The building has four storeys and a basement, with a cornice at the third floor and a parapet with a cornice at the roof, which includes a stack at the rear.
On the third floor, there are two sashes with moulded surrounds. The second floor has two full-height sashes, also with moulded surrounds, each featuring small cast iron balconies supported by moulded consoles, along with cornices and blind hoods. The first floor has two full-height sashes with moulded surrounds and a two-bay elliptically arcaded verandah supported by doubled turned piers and a simple balustrade.
The ground floor includes a tripartite sash with a moulded hood box. To the right, there is a door with six raised and fielded panels, topped by a semi-circular fanlight in a moulded surround, above a flight of five steps. The basement features a sash and half-glazed door. The railings have spear head designs with urn finial principals.
