Description

This is a terrace house dating from the 1820s, with alterations made in the late 19th century. The front is of stock brick with flint to the return elevation, topped by a plain tiled roof. It is three storeys high, with a basement, and features a parapet and a large stack-cum-shaped gable on the right side. The first and second floors have two shallow bays; the original curved glazing bar sashes remain on the second floor, while the first floor now has large projecting 19th-century wooden casements. A similar flush wooden casement with mullions, transoms, and a blind hood is located on the right side of the ground floor, with a basement opening below. A half-glazed door is on the left side, featuring a semi-circular fanlight with a fluted and moulded surround, reached by two steps, alongside a flush foot-scraper. A pointed arched wooden casement is visible on the right return elevation, leading to the garret.
