Description

A stable and coachhouse, now used as a garage, is located about 20 metres north-east of No. 20 Vale Square. Built in the 1840s, it features stock brick construction and a slate roof. The building is one storey high, with rendered pedimented end gables that have round-headed lights breaking into the pediments. The entrance front has carriage doors on the right and a boarded door on the left, which includes a rectangular fanlight. The wooden casement and door openings in the centre are blocked. This structure is included for its group value, as it was originally a stable and carriage house for No. 20 Vale Square.
