Description

RAMSGATE VALE SQUARE TR 3764 NE (north side) 12/394 No. 20 13.8.68 (Clanmire House) GV II House. 1840's. Rendered with slate roof with Greek Revival details. Three storeys with rusticated base, Giant pilasters cornice, string course to second floor and cornice and parapet and roof with stacks to end right and to left. Three sashes to each of 2nd and 1st floors with vertical glazing bars intact, and 2 large sashes with vertical glazing bars on ground floor projecting in well moulded surrounds. Central double sunk panelled doors with rectangular fanlight and fluted columned wooden surround in porch with doubled pilasters and cornice. Part of J.C. Eddel's development of Vale Square.
