Description
No. 15 Vale Square is a house built in the 1840s, featuring a rendered exterior and a slate roof with Greek Revival details. The building has three storeys and a basement, with pilaster quoins and pilasters on either side of the central window bay. A cornice runs along the roof, with chimney stacks at both ends. The windows are regularly arranged, with three sashes on the second and first floors that have vertical glazing bars, and two large ground floor sashes also with vertical glazing bars, which include a moulded cornice, sill, and balconies. The central entrance has double glazed doors topped by a rectangular fanlight, set within a porch that features pilasters and a cornice above five steps. There are two additional sashes in the basement, and a simple handrail accompanies the steps and area. This house is part of J.C. Eddel's Vale Square development.
