Description

Ludwells Farmhouse is a late medieval hall house that has been restored. It is two storeys and has an attic, with two windows in the main part, and a single-window gabled section to the left. The roof is hipped and tiled, with two modern gabled dormers. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor shows visible timber framing with plaster infill. The left section is now weatherboarded. Small 19th-century and modern casement windows are present. A central ridge chimney stack is visible. Inside, much timber is exposed, along with old floorboards and a newel staircase. The attic contains a carved crown post, although one brace is missing.
