Description

This is a 17th century or earlier barn located to the northwest of Waystrode Manor, featuring a tiled roof and renewed weatherboarding. The barn consists of four wide bays and includes long arch braces supporting the tie beam, along with a braced king post connecting to the ridge purlin. Additionally, there are queen struts supporting the principal rafters at the side purlin level, all constructed with stout timbers.
