Barn. C17. Timber frame on stuccoed brick sill, dark weatherboarded with steep pitched roof now slated. A wide, 5-bays barn facing S, with double doors in 2nd bay from E and winnowing door in N side of same bay. Adjoining buildings to SW not of special interest. Heavy jowled posts and unjowled mid-bay posts. Mid-height rail jointed in-line, straight tension braces above this rail, long straight braces to tie-beams. Single clasped-purlin to each roofslope carried on heavy inclined queen-posts. Middle-post to gable and long straight tension braces. Included for group value.
