Description

Fountain Cottage is a restored 16th century framed cottage located on the north side of High Street in Cowden. The building is constructed of brick with weatherboarding above, featuring a half-hipped gable end. It has one storey and an attic, with a gable end window. The north elevation showcases exposed framing with plaster infilling. The ridge tile roof slopes down on the south side, creating a modern porch and verandah. The cottage has casement windows and small dormers on the south side.
