The cottage is timber-framed, with rough-cast walls and colour-washed brick casing up to the first floor. The roofs are thatched and hipped to the left. There is an old red brick gable end stack to the cross-wing, and a modern ridge stack. Dormers are boxed and contain horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars.
