Description
Greenbushes is a 16th-century cottage located on Westbrook Street in Blewbury. It features irregular timber-framing with some arched braces and painted brick infill, topped by an old plain-tile hipped roof. The cottage is single storey with an attic and has a three-window range. A 20th-century panelled door is positioned to the left of the center. The windows are irregularly placed casements with leaded lights, and there is a gabled dormer to the right of the center that contains a two-light casement.
Inside, the cottage has a Queen post roof truss on the left and a cruck truss on the right. The spine beam and joists are visible on the ground floor, which also features a winder staircase and an open fireplace located in the center.
