Description

Fron Deg is a house located on Westbrook Street in Blewbury, dating from the early 19th century. It features a stone uncoursed rubble plinth and is constructed of red brick with random flared headers in Flemish bond, topped with a slate roof and a brick end stack on the left side. The building is two stories high and has a two-window range. The entrance is a plank door located in the center, which has a cambered brick head above it. On the ground floor, there are three-light casements with cambered brick heads on both the left and right sides. The first floor also has three-light casements, but these are fitted with leaded lights. A dog-tooth brick course runs along the eaves. The interior has not been inspected, but the building is included for its group value.
