HEMINGFORD ABBOTS COMMON LANE 1. 5140 (north side) No 12 (Walden Cottage) TL 28 71 14/2 II GV 2. Early C19 cottage. Two-storeys with outshut to rear. Timber-framed and rough-cast. Thatched roof half-hipped to right hand. Ridge stack and end stack. Symmetrical range of three casement windows of three lights with glazing bars patterned into Gothic arched heads above transome at both floor levels. Doorway to left of central, ground- floor window.
