Description

West End Cottage is a 17th-century house located in Hemingford Abbots on the north side of Common Lane. The building is two-storeys tall and features modern wings added to the west and south. It is constructed with a timber frame and has rendered, colour-washed brick. The roof is made of old plain tiles and has a shaped parapet gable, along with an end stack on the east side. The windows are casements with leaded lights. Inside, there is an original hearth and a baking oven.
