Description
Malford House is a 17th-century house located on the south side of Christian Malford Main Road. It features a timber-frame structure with painted brick and a roof covered in concrete tiles, topped with an off-centre ridge stack. The building stands two storeys high with an attic and is designed with square framing and angle braces. It consists of four bays, each with triple casements on both floors, and includes a projecting timber-framed gabled single-storey wing that has a bread-oven at the north end in the third bay. The main entrance door is situated to the left of the second window. The east end of the house has an attic triple casement, two first-floor casements, and angle braces, while the west end features a ground-floor bay window, two first-floor casements, and a pair of attic casements. The rear of the house has an added single-storey wing.
