Description

The Malt House is a 17th century building located on Dippenhall Street in Crondall. It is a large, irregularly shaped two-storey structure featuring exposed timber-framing on the north side. The roof is made of red tiles, with a half-hipped design and a gabled dormer. A central brick chimney stack with shafts is a prominent feature. The upper walls are mainly tile-hung, concealing the timber frame beneath. The building has casement windows, some of which are old. It has been extensively modernised over time.
