Description

Paris House is an 18th-century building with a 19th-century restoration, incorporating a timber-framed structure dating to around 1600. The building is two storeys high with a dormer window and a small basement window. The ground floor is painted brick with a painted plinth, featuring three modern casement windows. A 19th-century panelled door is set within a moulded frame and is sheltered by a projecting hood supported on carved wooden brackets, accessed by two steps. The first floor has a continuous rendered band and rendering above designed to resemble stone coursing, with three modern casement windows. Projecting eaves and a gutter run along the top. The roof is tiled with a ridge tile and multiple chimney stacks, with a 19th-century dormer window centrally located. Nos. 12 to 18 (even) form a group.
